Tokens

Every token in the system is on exactly one of these pages, and each page holds every token in the dimensions it names.

These are the values the product actually ships, read out of its stylesheets at one pinned commit — not a palette anybody proposed. If you want the authoritative shade, it is on one of these pages and nowhere else.

pageholds
chart-colorThe series palette, kept apart from the colour tiers because a chart series is chosen by position, not by meaning.
Colour — legacyThe 2020-era names. Still shipping, still referenced, blind to the theme switch — and not for new code.
Colour — primitiveThe raw ramp underneath the semantic names. Not for product code: a colour no semantic name covers is a missing semantic name, not a reason to reach for a ramp step.
Colour — semantic-aliasOlder names that still resolve to the semantic set. Safe to read, not to reach for in new code.
Colour — semanticThe design language. This is what product code should reach for.
Colour — vendorTailwind's palette, inherited rather than chosen. We declare none of it.
Other elementsSizes, shadows, radii and everything else that is neither colour nor type.
TypographyEvery font family, size, weight, line height and letter spacing the product ships.
